Strengthening the Local Economy
As well as improving community facilities, the proposals set out by Hallam Land and Dullatur Golf Club offer significant economic benefit for the local region. Approximately 263 direct and 306 jobs will be created throughout the construction phase.
The estimated Gross Value Added (GVA) generated throughout the construction phase of the development totals £211.7 million. The number of new residents at the new development would create a combined £33.8 million GVA per annum. The GVA of their employment is estimated at £646 million and combined, their council tax contribution would equate to more than £1 million per annum. This will help to boost the local economy and generate more funds to be invested back into the community.
