Securing the Long-Term Future of Dullatur Golf Club
Dullatur Golf Club has a proud history and has been a long-established recreational facility within the community since 1896. The Club currently has almost 1000 members, and is important to a wide demographic, attracting both local (85%) and non-local members (15%). Whilst the age of current members varies, the majority are older and male, and it is important that new facilities are attractive to younger audiences to ensure the Club remains successful in the future.
By releasing a small proportion of its land for development, it will enable the Club to enhance the social, food and drink offerings and attract a new demographic. For example, this could include:
- The redevelopment of the Antonine Course to create a new 9-hole golf course alongside the existing 18-hole course, allowing the opportunity for shorter play.
- Development of a new indoor tennis dome and facilities, allowing for year-round play.
- Enhancement of junior play areas.
- Refurbishment of the Clubhouse and additional tenant space.
- New practice area, driving range and short game area.
- Improved car parking provision.
